— About —

For as long as I can remember I’ve walked to the beat of my own drum, but that level of self awareness as a kid wasn’t always received well. What was once seen as rebelliousness surfaced as a desire to create. I love to learn by doing, and feel the most comfortable in rooms, and situations that I’m least expected to be. Growing up in Washington, DC your career paths are limited to politics, law, and medicine. Sports was my first love, but injury came early and often derailing that journey. When it was time to select a college art was the only major I could think of. Sadly my grades didn’t match the strength of my portfolio so all the school of interest were no longer an option. With university feeling like an impossible task I took my first job as a video editor in news splitting 10 years between B.E.T and Fox5 News. Feeling stagnant and consumed with an overwhelming desire to create I moved to LA to pursue film. First stop was Los Angeles Film School. Immediately after graduation I began working with a variety of artists in the music industry. Photography, logo design, creative consulting, directing are just a few of the tasks I took on. Years of building relationships eventually led me to taking a position as Creative Director for a very popular artist in the dance music genre. I would go on to tour the next several years before returning to work for myself as a visual artist and creative consultant.
